Our History

I began my locksmithing and safe work journey in 1992, learning and apprenticing in my brother’s locksmith business in Michigan.

Throughout the years, I’ve gained experience in locksmithing and safe work in both Minnesota and Hawaii.

In August 2012, I took the decision to establish our own company in central Oahu, and that’s how Blessing Lock Service came to be.

The name “Blessing Lock” often raises curiosity among people. We chose this name to represent our intention of being a blessing to others while staying true to our Christian faith.

Eventually, my father, David Sr. joined me and it has been an incredible blessing to work together as father and son, serving the security needs of our communities.

Occasionally, my young sons and daughters also contribute, eagerly learning and assisting with lock repairs and installations.

Our ultimate objective is to bring glory to God through our service to Him and those who seek our assistance. Our motto is “Let us be a blessing to you.”

As we strive to fulfill this mission, we find inspiration in Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.”

First of all, when I called Busy Bees Locks and Keys in the morning I was greeted by a pleasant voice. She was professional , patient and understanding. I was given a time frame that worked around that particular days schedule. The service technician, Kyle arrived within the window I was given.

After contractors accidentally lost our keys, we had to call Busy Bees out on New Years Eve. They got here quickly and were really easy to communicate with. Kyle was our technician and he was amazing. Super nice, knowledgeable, and quick! It’s never fun to need a locksmith, but I would use them again in a heartbeat if we needed to.

Super quick response! I broke my key in the lock last night, they were at my place early the next morning!Ryan was very professional, quick, and considerate. He even helped align the lock better so I didn’t have to use as much force, which was a big reason why my key broke in the first place. Called Blessing Lock Service on Monday and was able to make an appointment with them on Thursday. Dave Jr. called the day before to give me an approximate time. He really worked with me to coordinate service. He then sent his dad to come over first. They were able to change all the mechanisms so now we only need to use one key. He also fixed a squeak my dad had in his front door and also fixed the garage door so it is easier to open and close. Both David Sr. & Jr. are fantastic! So glad we called them. I highly recommend their business!
